DANCE<33
I LOVE DANCING(i think its pretty obv)
so sat night was DANCE NIGHT.
during full dress rehearsal i changed makeup abt five times?haha
cos jamies and bibianas dance the makeup is so diff.and the hair is diff.after bibiana's, i have to remove the bun and tie a twisted half.thankfully i looked human.i was afraid my hair would go BOOM.haha.anyway on friday which was full dress i woke up at 4.30 am, got home at 8.30 pm and slept at 1.30am.blehh so tiring.
dance night was GREAT.although cherie and i were like theres no feeling in fervour.cos half the dance was ppl from xiaolin's item.their item after it ended the music tripped and started playing from the middle again.so i guess everyone was in a bad mood.bibianas was fine.though i think i stepped on my skirt.haha.its so long lar.the black gloves were so cool.like victorian style.but i liked both items.
then on monday it was auditions for musical extravaganza- official opening of mg new building.
Thaarman and everyone importants going to be there i think. its a move about.like the audience moves from concourse to audi and stuff liddat.so there are three dances for the dancers. ballet by xiaolin.jazz by bibiana and contem by dunno who.but everyones doing the contem.so abt fifty of us were auditioned.twelve including me got selected for ballet.yay.there were abt three or four rounds.then the rest had to do the jazz.they were supposed to act flirty and seductive.the music is so creepy.and some of them are going to be in cages. its called the lot's wife scene at the concourse.and its that directors stupid idea lar.even bibiana wasnt really happy.and the dancers are definitely not.its so low.there isnt any dance involved lar.its horrible.its not just ass shaking.its like pulling ppls ties and 'interacting' with the audience.flirting with them.miss kon will seriously freak when she finds out.the teachers arent exactly pleased abt it either.neither is bibiana.and the students are totally against it.esp jamie koh.haha.when i told mrs phua they shldnt be doing this.she said tell her no use.she cant do anything abt it.its all that DIRECTOR.arggghhh.and hes so pervertic lar.and that director is just using these girls to fill in the gaps cos he needs a crowd there.the ballet one is dancing to the miriam song.the musical is like an extract from the bible.genesis to exodus.theres lot and miriam and moses and isrealites involved.quite cool.but this director is ruining the whole thing.hes making my item where some kinda ugly clothes.cutting off half the time we get to dance.and changing EVERYTHING.xiaolin so wasnt happy abt it lar.today had prac.we just did nth and listened to the director talk half the time.and listened to the choir girls sing the miriam song life.wasted two hours doing nth.
but dont worry.
i still love dance <33

havent blogged in a longlong time.my blogs half dead.haha.
todays monday.(like duh)
had chapel.(uh-huh)
but this weeks special.
COS ONE T LED CHAPEL
i think we did a great job((:
worship leaders were chris tiffy and alyssa chen. lina was supposed to lead to but she isnt feeling well so didnt come schh.BOO.
clare and grace cheah played the electric guits.
shina vi and placida played the violin for some songs.suprisingly it sounded vry nice with the guit and piano and all.
sandra and likim took turns on the drums.
and violette and i played the keyboard.
the songs were everyday running after you blessed be your name and how great is our God.
violette played for blessed be your name and i played the rest.there was no time so we didnt sing who am i(i was supposed to play that)boo.thats such a nicenicenice song lar.
really enjoyed chapel today.havent played for worship in a longlong time.
once dance night is over.i shall go back to childrens church and play for worship.
and speaking of dance night.ITS THIS SAT ALREADY.yay.cant wait.this wed taking pft after sch.the five items.then thursday during pe taking 2.4.thurs is dance night tech rehearsal and fri is full dress.then sat is DANCE NIGHT.scary.i havent learnt my last part for jamies item yet.im dead.oh for those who dont know whos jamie.its my second item for dance night.ballet contemporary.its like choreographed by jamie.sec four student at mg.her ballet is super good lor.and my other item for dance night is bibiana's.its jazz.and her costume is like top to toe golden.2 inch heels. the skirt is like until ankle.the blouse is super cheena.AHHHH.
five more days to dance night ((:
